Every first aider should have this at least 12 μm thick thermal blanket in his equipment. The thermal blanket olive-green – silver is intended to protect against cold, dirt, as a base or for camouflage. The face must always remain free during use and thermal blankets are not intended for open wounds. As cold protection, the silver side must show to the patient's body, the olive-green side is for camouflage. The rescue blanket can be placed in all of the ZentauroN medical pouches and helps them or their comrades against cold.
