The Magazine Flap is an extension for the plate carrier. There are three magazine pouches permanently sewn in place and the Magazine Flap comes with three locking rubber cords. G36, G3, M4 and AK47-1XX magazines fit in this extension.

Additional Molle loops are attached to the magazine pouch for securing the backup kit and to hold additional gear. An additional horizontal channel with 4 MOLLE loops is located at the bottom of the magazine pouches. Knives, tourniquet or pistol magazine pouches can be attached here, for example.
Attachment to the plate carrier is via 4 webbing straps located at the top of the rear panel. The webbing is simply pulled through the MOLLE loops of the carrier, and then looped through the webbing of the flap. The webbing straps are fixed to the Velcro flap. The Velcro surface at the bottom of the Flap is velcroed into the plate pocket for a firm hold.
The Modular Flap is an innovative fastening system with additional functions. For example, additional material such as a flat IFAK or maps can be carried between the plate carrier and the Modular Flap.
The Modular Flap is for the Zentauron plate carriers and also fits on the service supplied plate carrier from LHT.
The materials used comply with the technical delivery conditions of the Bundeswehr or the MIL-SPEC of various other armies. Fabric, webbing, plastic parts as well as all haberdashery meet military standards regarding infrared values as well as composition and quality.
