The plate carrier Vulcan LC (Lasercut) is a convertible system which is characterized by its low profile design and can be used as a cover and underlay plate carrier. Equipped with ROC (Rapid Opening Connector) buckles on the cummerbund and shoulder straps, the plate carrier can be quickly put on and taken off.
The plate pockets accommodate protective ballistic inserts measuring 25cm x30cm. The hard ballistics and soft ballistics are fixed via Velcro inside the plate pocket. Velcro areas are placed on the inside for additional padding.
The front is with at chest level a combined Velcro Molle area for equipment and patches or badges. The back also has a Velcro area. Included is a MOLLE laser cut flap that attaches over the Velcro areas of the collar. The MOLLE flap allows the whole area on the back to be used.
The cummerbund adjusts well to the body shape of the wearer. Depending on the size, the cummerbund is available with 3 or 4 slide-in compartments. For example, M4 magazines or small radios or similar large items can be accommodated.
With the Vulcan LC plate carrier you get a highly modular system that is second to none in terms of protection and modularity.
